The CKKB-TC Quick Throw Switch is a throw switch designed for dynamic and fast compensation of power capacitors. The capacitor quick-open/close switches are mainly used for shock loads, such as welding machines, steel rolling mills, harbor cranes, elevators, inverter furnaces, and other sites where loads change rapidly.
CKKB-TC series quick-acting switches have a fast following speed and can effectively compensate for shock loads with a response time of 10-20ms, which effectively saves power and is irreplaceable by AC contactors and composite switches.
The module of CKKB-TC series quick-open/close switch adopts high-speed CPU measurement and control, pulse transformer triggering, multiple protection schemes and quick-open/close technology to ensure that the triggering module controls the thyristor to contact with the voltage over zero, and disconnect with the current over zero, and does not generate closing inrush current.
